Continuing the countdown to Kenobi! Following on from the Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 1, our next Exhibit is the Episode 3: a custom brass chassis install with a rotating crystal chamber, and a fitting tribute to an iconic lightsaber.

One of the most iconic lightsaber shapes in the Star Wars universe. Obi-Wan built this third saber after his first was lost in his battle against Darth Maul in Episode 1 and his second was lost in the battle on Geonosis. Obi-Wan Kenobi’s third and final lightsaber can be recognised by its classic thin-neck design and sink-knob style blade emitter, and it served him between Episodes 3 and 4, until his death.

This version in Exhibit 2.1 is a replica designed to be his lightsaber as seen in Episode 3, with a cleaner, newer look. The internal chassis is made of brass and aluminium, designed and built by hand by Thanawat Yeah Jhikar. It features a rotating crystal chamber with a natural quartz crystal, as well as LED accents. It also has a Proffie 2.2 board with full gesture controls and light and sound effects.
