Exhibit No. 046
Heirloom ClassGCS HARP Bane
One of the pioneering lightsaber makers is none other than Rob “Madcow” Petkau from @madcow_genesis. One of his most iconic lightsaber designs is the GCS interpretation of the Darth Bane. With its deceptively simple curved hilt that exudes a menacing elegance, the GCS Bane is an example of what a master saber smith can do to bring a vision for a lightsaber hilt to life. Everything from the white bone sleeve, to the double claws and slanted emitter, tells the story of the Sith Lord that started the Rule of Two.
What also makes this Exhibit truly Heirloom Class is that the GCS Bane is installed with a custom flexible brass metal chassis by the legendary @by_harp. With all the bells and whistles of an OLED screen, LED accents and a crystal chamber, the chassis adds that extra heft and detail that takes this piece beyond the realm of the ordinary and into heirloom status. Powered by the latest CFX board for Neopixel light and sound, the final product is a lightsaber that stands apart from anything else.
