Saber - Killer Penny Legacy

The second Heirloom Class Saber in our collection is none other than the Killer Penny Legacy. As always, Heirloom Class Sabers are reserved for iconic lightsabers that have made a significant contribution to the advancement of lightsaber design over the years. The original Killer Penny by Corbin Das and Orbital Machining was created in 2007 after more than a year of design and experimentation. Years later, in 2014, in response to fan demand, the creators of the original Killer Penny put together a limited tribute run of 13 sabers. Thus, the Killer Penny Legacy was born.

This Exhibit is one of only 13 in the world. Designed to be visually almost identical to the original Killer Penny, the Legacy is entirely machined in brass and copper, with significant upgrades to enable electronics installation, better weighted handling, and sound venting. Everything about this saber is iconic, from the thin-waist design to the shrouds and the unmistakable two-tone hue.

Without a doubt, the Killer Penny Legacy stands tall as an Heirloom Class Saber that has inspired a generation of lightsaber smiths who followed.
